When Arts & Education In Concert (AEIC) began planning the content of this CD, we wanted to tie the music together with a story line. As we struggled with what to do, a suggestion came from one of the students at our South Lakes High School 'Project X' program. " Why don't you tape a discussion with us, and use that." So we did. This CD contains that candid discussion between high school students and the staff of Arts & Education In Concert. The topics discussed include drugs, violence, stress, depression and relationships with peers and parents. Whether you find the attitudes expressed to be consistent or different from your own, AEIC hopes that listening to this CD will stimulate a healthy discussion between parent and student, one that will lead to a better understanding from both parties on these issues. The music expressed by these students is a reflection of their determination to lead a healthy life style that creates value in their lives and communities. We welcome your comments. If you would like to express your thoughts, participate in the next CD project, or be a part of other programs offered by AEIC, please email us at info@aeconcert.org
The Contents of The Project X CD are provided in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. Adobe Acrobat PDF format is compatible with PC and Macintosh computers. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer, you can download it free by clicking here.
